Don't despair, the citrus peeler is here. It allows you to remove the peel in two halves, leaving the fruit intact. You can keep the orange in its skin until you're ready to eat it. 1) Score skin around center of fruit by using the blade in the center of the peeler. 2) Gently insert the curved end of the peeler under the skin where it is scored. 3) Move the peeler around gently to loosen the rind from the fruit 4) ENJOY!! | | | Features: | |
• As easy as 1-2-3!!
• Both halves slide back together for freshness
• Perfect for lunches & travel
• NO MORE MESS...

Easy and fast peelerNov 24, 2009 I like this peeler a lot. It seems faster to me than other types of peelers I've tried. You use the little side blade to make a cut around the circumference of the fruit, then stick the "wand" part under the skin and peel away! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is that after a while, the tip of the wand wears out and it no longer works as well.

There are others that work betterAug 24, 2007 There are other peelers that work better...especially the part that is supposed to make the initial cuts into the skin. This one uses a very small plastic blade situated in the middle of the side of the instrument, which makes it difficult to "sweep", or manipulate around the circumference of the fruit.
The ones that work the best are those that have an elliptical blade at the end of the instrument, and all you have to do is make an initial cut to get it under the skin and then simply pull it around the fruit.
