 fun but a little touchyJul 15, 2010
These are so fun! I give them to my 2 1/2 year old son when we are having chinese food.
They are a little touchy because they are so flexible, but my son got the hang of it pretty quickly.

My 4 year old was able to pick them up and start using them right away. My 2 year old liked to play with them as well, he might be able to learn how to get the food to him mouth soon with help. They are really cute and they fit in the munchin dishwasher baskets I have for the kid's small stuff.

 Hate company's Customer Service, but item is okayJun 04, 2010
I received the set of Holdsticks last Sat and was prepared to write a positive review [from a grownup's perspective on personally using the chopsticks and for what grownup reasons I use them]. And also to confirm other reviewers' comments that the chopsticks could be sturdier, less flexible. However, positive and explanatory review not happening as the red fire breathing dragon was smeared on that particular chopstick and as it was the one I would have given to a four year old I know, I went to the company's web site, filled in all info, sent a lovely paragraph about my liking of the product, how I used them, but questioned the dye used in the animal stamps [the smear not only made that chopstick less attractive visually, but acted as thought stimulating]. I had hoped their customer service would offer to swap smeared dragon for perfect one. Email sent Sat; today is Fri and their customer service has not bothered to respond. I had thought to purchase more of this product due to the grownup use I make of them, but will not from this company.

Product was good. We purchased a bunch for our sons birthday party as part of the favors. When delivered we were missing one, but we were credited it immediatley... Worked out well actually, i added the extra to get to the "free shipping" price anyway.

These chopsticks are an almost perfect starter-set. As some reviewers have noted, the tips are a bit more flexible than expected but they seem durable enough. I would buy them again, especially considering the price and entertainment value.
