ONE OF THE BEST INVENTIONS EVER!!!Jun 08, 2010 I absolutely adore this product!! I've struggled my entire life to scrub my back thoroughly, and this product does this trick effortlessly!!! :D
As one reviewer stated, it is a rough Buff-puff type material, so if you're not a fan of that, then it might not be for you, but I'm a big fan of the texture; I feel it exfoliates/cleans very well, so I love it!
If you're having trouble with it sticking, be sure to scrub/clean your shower wall very well. I've had issues with suction cup things sticking in the past, but that's because I didn't scrub the wall prior. This time I made sure to do so, and it's ON there.
I highly recommend this product!!! I'm going to stock up on the replacement pads just in case it's ever discontinued!

If you like this kind of material, then it's good. Otherwise...Nov 18, 2009 Pros:
Large area for scrubbing.
Creates good suds with body washes.
Will, no doubt scrub your back.
The lotion applicator works as a big washcloth too!
Hands free. (The suction cups do work!)
Cons:
Not for sensitive skin.
Kind of big, gets in the way.
Kind of a pain in the butt to clean, move.
Lots of suds = slippery footing. (Comes with slip resistant strips though.)
Not a natural, renewable product. Not green. :o(
When looking for a solution for my itchy back I gave this a try. To be honest, it's not for me. Mainly because of the type of material used to scrub with. As a I have sensitive skin it actually hurts to use. I did give it a try for an extended period of time, but had to find something else.
I like the fact that it makes a lot of suds with body wash, but as a result I went through a lot of body wash. I will admit I was too lazy to add the additional slip resistant strips that came with it (my tub already has) and because of all the suds it did make it a little slippery when using. (Again... I was lazy and didn't add the additional strips.)
As a result of my sensitive skin and this type of material not working for me, I moved on to luffas. Say what you want about luffa, I love it and have since given up trying to use synthetic materials for scrubbing. That's not to say that there aren't people out there that might like this product. For example, I ended up buying a replacement pad and passing it on to a family member and they love it! Bigger guy, loves the coverage. To each their own though.
I have since stumbled upon a luffa back scrubber that attaches to my shower wall (like this one) and am now happily content. (Actually, I'm in love with it.) The BIG BEAR - Bath and Body Natural Loofah Back Scrubber I felt compelled to review this one though because I thought it was getting a bad rap. Maybe the material isn't for some people, but to trash it because the suction cup won't stick? Come on... clean your shower. Try a little CLR or something. It's a suction cup, they stick to everything! If it can create a vacuum, it will work. To each their own though.
Anyway, that's my two cents on it. Take it as you will.

Junk!May 18, 2009 It simply doesn't stay on any surface. I'm handy, I know. It's garbage, don't buy it.

Totally AWESOME!!Apr 21, 2009 I bought this just out of the blue because my husband is always complaining about his back itching. I put it on my tub wall (which it tile) and it hasn't come down yet and it isn't because it gets used gently, we scrub vigorously. My husband is rough when he uses it on his back and it just stays there. This is the best investment I have ever made. We both use and love it. Don't try to take it away from us because you'll have a fight on your hands. I want to buy one for my son in law if I can find one. I don't know if this one is the whole thing or just the cover. So for anyone who has never used one of these wonderful things, get it and try it and you'll never go back to the old way I can promise you.

not worth itOct 03, 2007 If you have tiles in your shower area, don't buy this as it won't work. I don't think the suction cups are strong enough, it slides around after a few strokes.
