Pieces of cheap plastic. Mechanism to dispense salad dressing from lid does not work. Do not buy this product.

I bought this product off of a friend who works for me whose daughter was selling candy etc in those catalogs that all kids sell. This item came yesterday and we all had a nice long laugh of how terrible this product is. The bowl itself isn't even as durable feeling as those Glad throwaway bowls, the lid is even worse, and the "blaster" (the storage unit where you are supposed to keep your salad dressing)literally feels like those 5 cent toys you get at Chucky Cheese that are supposed to squirt water out of a flower. If you have no idea what type of cheap plastic I am referring to, imagine the cheapest plastic possible, then imagine it being 10 times better than the piece included in this set. All in all, I don't care as I just wanted to help an employees daughter sell some items, but if your looking to buy this for any real purpose outside of a throwaway dog bowl, then steer clear of this item, don't waste the money, by a piece of Tupperware.

I got these bowls for my hubby when he went on a diet and he loves them. It is a pretty simple design, easy to use, and easy to wash. It is just the right size for a portioned salad. The dressing has never leaked prematurely.
I was actually disappointed when the product first arrived but I contacted the company about a defect and they promptly sent a replacement bowl no problems! Thank you!

When I ordered this, it is listed as "Salad Blaster Bowl 2 Pairs (Lid/Bowl) - Colors may vary". Now, reading that as the description I was thinking I would get 2 x pairs, of bowls. To me, that would be 4 bowls. Even at the least, in trying to analyze what they were attempting to describe, maybe 2 pairs, lids and bowls which might mean 2 lids, 2 bowls.... Nope. Turns out you only get A (1) [single] bowl. Not a pair of anything, nor in any quantity. I contacted Amazon and they were pretty nice about offering options as they agreed that the listing is pretty confusing and remedied the purchase to my satisfaction.
Overall the bowl isn't really terrible in quality. It is somewhere between those better quality disposables and a supperware/rubbermaid regular re-usable container. For what is does, compared to the big name comparable items, it's 2/3 to half the cost, duh.
I expect to get maybe 6-8 months out of them judging on first few uses and feeling/quality of the product; I'll be happy. I take 4 salads a week to work with me, was using the disposables. I had a set I would rotate through 4 days a week, every week for about 3 months, then I'd replace them. If these cost 2x-3x those and give me 3x the service AND have the cool dressing dispenser so I don't have to carry separate dressing, sounds like a no brainer to me!
2 stars off for now due to the bad product listing, I will revisit this in the future when either the listing is fixed, or if something changes with the bowl. I would order 3 more "PAIRS", especially if it were in the quantity I thought they would be. I will up it 1 star for listing correction to 4 if that happens and that's where I'd leave it as a final for the ok, but not super product quality for the $.

I have only been using the salad blaster for 1 week and the salad dressing dispenser has already cracked on the top so when you push on it to release the dressing, the dressing comes out the top. Not worth the money.
